"I have a 5.7 with throttle body injection hooked to a DP drive. The unit just got to 200 hours, so I'm going to pull the drive for lube and to check the baffles. The boat is trailered, and flushed after every use. The Volvo Owner's manual says to replace the baffles every 2 years or 200 hours. The Clymers manual saYs to change it if it leaks or shows rot or wear. SHouild I change them regardless of condition, or leave them in place if they look ok?"
