"Got a pair if new 140 4 strokes. After break in when I could get the revs to 4000, one of the motors intermittently loses revs, drops to 1500..Mechanics replaced fuel pump under warranty but did not fix problem...It must be a fuel delivery problem, but what?"
 
My buddy's 140 did the sam

My buddy's 140 did the same thing and believe it or not it was a fouled plug. I would have never thought that. I thought it was a fuel issue or going into safe mode or something.
