I have replaced the exhaust se

I have replaced the exhaust seal and ring at the lower housing but most of the exhaust is still leaking out rather than going through the prop. Is there an adjustment to make the housing seal better or is this an indicator of another problem? I have to pull the lower unit to replace the transom seal an I would like to fix both issues while I am in there. TKS GT
 
I worked on the boat this week

I worked on the boat this weekend and got the lower unit to seal a little better to the exhaust outlet on the intermediate but it is still leaking as there is about a 1/8 inch gap from the housing to the exhaust seal with the drive all the way down. Any Ideas? TKS GT
 
Take a drill and clean out the

Take a drill and clean out the two holes for the guid pins. (If the drive has them! Not all had)
