"I have a 1988 Yamaha 90 hp outboard. Engine starts easily and runs great at higher speeds, but after its been run for a while and I shift to neutral, it just sputters and dies. Then I can't keep it from cutting off without giving it some gas in neutral until just befor shifting to forward or reverse. Makes me look like a real idiot at the marina, continually restarting my engine. Anyone have any suggestions?"
