Hi there! My son got an little

Hi there! My son got an little boat with a 1981 7.5 HP Evinrude from his grandad. It ran just fine a couple of hours and suddenly died. There is no spark on either of the spark-plugs. I've tried new plugs but still no spark. I've also checked all wires and measured resistance from point to point - all ok. Also checked the stop button. Can anyone help? We are currently on vacation and my 11 yrs old son is a bit dissappointed...
