Is it ok to plug the water sup

Is it ok to plug the water supply fitting from the outdrive to the engine if I have thru the hull raw water pickups for cooling the engines instead on the outdrives?

Yes but I recommend removing the feed hose in the gimble housing as the water coming thru the drive is also used for cooling the drive and this will allow it to flow. There are also drive showers out there that are remarkable. Put one an an alfa and even after a high speed run the upper unit and bearing cap were ice cold to the touch.
