"I have a 1994 Dyasty Cabin Cruiser with a 454 chevy block and a Yamaha sterndrive. The problem is when I am crusing and plained out I go to adjust the trim on the drive for optimal plain. Well as soon as I hit the trim button on the throttle stick the drive is coming out of gear and the engine revs. But then as soon as I let off the trim it pops back into gear and continues on fine. Also I noticed that the radio clicks when I trim also. I cant find much information on this drive seeing that they only produced them a couple years. I was thinking maybe I have a lose wire or bad ground creating a short circiut? I was wondering what you think and what would be the best way to start trouble shooting. Also these drive's clutches are vicous cupling system, could this also contribute? Thank you!"
