Shift Cable Replacement

My 470 shift cable just snappe

My 470 shift cable just snapped below the lever connector (I have seperate throttle/shift levers).I used visegrip to save the day but I don't recommend it. Do I need to replace the whole assembly or
can the inner cable only be removed & replaced?

Replace the whole thing

Replace the whole thing. There is a reason it broke. It could be the housing.
