"Hello,
A couple of years ago, I looked at late 80's bow rider that was a I/O merc w/ a 350 engine. I ended up not buying that boat because the interior was in pretty bad shape. But the one feature that I had never seen before and have not seen again was that there was a lever on the dash that would route the exhaust through the lower unit or through the transom. Can anyone recall which boats/models came with this feature/option.

"Thats a very expensive option on most boats, although some big money models like Fountain, Nordic, Sunsation, etc have it standard. It goes by many names, but most people call it 'Captains Choice' exhaust or sometimes 'Silent Choice'. It can be installed in almost any boat, but again, its very expensive."
