1993 mercruiser 3.0 the lower unit oil looks like cream put in fresh oil today

There is a bad seal in

There is a bad seal in either the upper or lower gear case that is letting water pass.
Best to keep a eye on this for if it gets real bad the oil could get to where it doesn't lube the parts.
Any sign of water is not good for the drive system.
The drives can be pressure tested to see which has the problem.

"If the washer hasn't been changed on the vent or drain plug, there's a good chance that it's coming in there. Another frequent source is from fishing line wrapping around the prop shaft and working its way into the oil seals. Water in the oil kills the lubricity and gear/bearing failure will occur if it's not fixed.
