I have an electric start 25hp Merc outboard motor. And I also have an electric Minn Kota motor. I have both of them hooked up to a 12v marine battery. Is there a risk to either motor by hooking both up at the same time?

No -- the Minnkota has overloa

No -- the Minnkota has overload protection in case of voltage surge. Just don't try to start your merc while running the electropeller.
