"Was out on the lake and stopped the boat and it died. I was unable to get it restarted because I could not get it back into neutral. The position of the throttle was correct, but I was never able to engage the starter. It had been acting up a little, but this time it came to getting towed in. Any thoughts? Are there "neutral" switches on these things? 1981 3.8 OMC GM with 800 stinger. I'm probably going to send it to the shop unless someone knows if this is a simple fix. Thanks for all the help.
