"Good afternoon. How would I remove the prop shaft from a cobra drive. I have the prop off, the bearing housing,the two snap rings and housing back plate out. There must be something with the shifter? Thanks"

I'm not sure but I think you need to remove the pinion gear.

"Pinion and driveshaft must out, shiftrod out, but:
Mark the hight of the shiftrod so You get it back at exact same hight.
Push it down before taking it out.
Pull out the shaft with the shift housing."
