"Went down to the boat this evening for a dinner cruise. Lowered both drives just fine. Boat ran like a top.

When I returned from the cruise, I tried to raise both drives. Port one wouldn't come up. I tried using the "trailer switch". Nothing. NO noise at all. When I try to put that drive down, I hear the pump engage. Any ideas? Do I have a fuse somewhere that is preventing the lifting side?"

"Had a similar problem with my Bravo I. Turned out to be the limiter switch in the drive. A friend of mine put in a jumper wire, and it works!"

The limit switch could be a problem but it sounds more like the UP solenoid. You can get the drive up in a pinch by jumping the top LARGE terminals on the UP solenoid. Also check the small ground wire for the UP sol. Normally if the drive won't come up at all this is the problem. The trailer switch (if wired correctly ) bypasses the trim limiter.
