"My boyfriend just bought a 86 Bayliner i/o 4 cylinder 2.3 liter piece, well anyway, we still have not even got close to putting it on the water. He says that the reason is because he is not getting good water flow through the engine with the ears muffs on, and if he puts the hose directly on, the water flow is good. well my question is if he puts the boat into the water will it get good flow? or what will happen do you think?"
