"Fuel gauge doesn't work.
"Fuel gauge doesn't work. Just bought the boat and the seller fiddled w/ the ground contact at the sender and it worked. No luck at all now. I'd like to take it out for inspection.
Some q's:
1. Can I short the 2 leads together to see if the gauge reads or will I kill the gauge?
2. If I take the sender out, what do I use to re-seal the unit?
