"Everything runs fine at lower

"Everything runs fine at lower speeds, when I go wide open it will cut out and the engine will drop down in speed, I have to drop the throttle down and then edge it back up. When I hit that magic spot it will cut out again. As long as I keep it medium throttle or low it runs great.

*has new heat exchanger

Not getting enough gas. Is there a filter before the fuel pump? Bad idea. Filters should be AFTER the fuel pump (with coarse strainers only before them).
