"I have a 1992 Rinker with a low hours 5.0. I bought the boat after bellow cracked and rear end of boat went down in the water. It had water in the engine(engine was cold), water in the gas tank. I've drained tank, rebuilt carb, blew water out of engine, changed oil, 2 times. It will sit and purr like a kitten on the trailer, it doesn't overheat. But when I put it in the water and get it up to cruising speed it will go about a 1/2 mile and shutdown. This last time I had steam/smoke coming up from the carburator. It also wouldn't crank up this last time. I've used sea-foam and sta-bil in this first tank of gas. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!"
