I've been running my 470 for 12 years and no major problems. Of course I always keep an eye glued to the temp gauge 'cause the impeller is that old also. Change it or leave it? I've got the 4 inch heat exch. and alternator mod and am wondering if the electronic ignit. mod is worth it? Does the timimg have to be reset after the mod install?

Any time you change something in a distributor (other than the cap or rotor), the timing should be checked."
