Arrow 75 HP

I;ve got a 7.5 HP outboard mot

I;ve got a 7.5 HP outboard motor made by Arrow in Canada. Anybody heard of these? I didn;t find a model# but there was a serial # 701345 on it.

"Sean,
Your "Arrow" was manufactured by the Triton motor company which was based out of Montreal.

They produced 4, 5.5 and 7.5 horse outboards between 1976 and 1984.

The motors sold under the brand names Apollo, Arrow, Beaver and Triton. All were little single cylinder air-cooled motors most probably nothing more than components from either Tecumseh or Briggs (however I have not further info) with a generic lower unit (probably from OMC).

My best guess based on your serial would make it a 1982 model, but I have very limited records/details on this builder which is long out of business."
