View Full Version : Trim gauge broken

I have a 2002 150Yamaha the black plastic part on the pivot shaft(Where the weight of the motor is supported and pivots up and down) is broken. This part triggers a sensor that gives the trim angle to the gauge. How can this be replaced? Does this horizontal shaft slide out? Does the engine have to be lifted? Any info would be greatly appreciated as the seloc manual gives no info

"It turns out to be easy. You just spread the sensor activation lever over the shaft, adjust it and bingo you are ready to go."
