"I just got this motor and ran it in a tank. No water came out of the tube so I immediatly shut it down. Intake is clear. I tried blowing air through the tube that is supposed to bleed a stream of water and none came out from the intake area. I was using a hand pump, and the air just dead headed.

I bought an impeller replacement kit, but I am getting the impression that I need to clean all of the cooling passages. This means taking the head off I believe.
The motor was run in salt water.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
