"Hi Would appreciate any views as to the good and bad points on the above combination and as separate units. Looking at buying a 26 footer GRP with this combination. Hard, cold, thoughts. Thank You."

"great combo. The 42p-a has a supercharger that makes up for turbo lag. What to look for is coolant leaking out from the stb. side head gasket..youll have to look under the manifold with a flashlight to inspect. I usually look for green bilge water indicating a coolant lead.
The leg is also a high quality piece of equipment. What I would look for is water in the u joint bellows, gear oil quality and operating hours. These legs are good for about 1000 hours before gears start chipping. If it was me, I would pull the lower bearing carrier out and physically check the gear set."
