Seems sand and or corrosion wa

Seems sand and or corrosion was in riser drain leaving some water in risers and manifold. Froze and Cracked. Lesson learned always poke a wire or something after you pull drain plugs.
Note to jeff.: you helped me last year with alignment questions. Thanks for all the help!!

For this reason I always run the pink stuff through the motor--not just pour it into the block (as some do). Running the motor until the pink stuff comes out the exhaust eliminates this problem.

I hope the water didn't get into the motor!

"last year, after using the boat for a few hours, without incident, my motor stalled at idol, and locked up. Found that the motor had filled up with water. (They have about 200 hours on them, over a 15 year period.) After draining the oil, a few times, and changing the 15 year old exhaust manifolds, the motor still filled with water upon starting briefly. What next? Manifold gaskets? Head gaskets? Block? Where do I start? Capt A"
