Removed my alpha 1 o/d to stor

Removed my alpha 1 o/d to store for the winter and found the hose clamp broken for the u joint bellows and the grounding clip gone. what can I use to replace the grounding clip.Bellows is in good condition and already purchsed a new clamp (3-5 in.)

Since the broken clamp leaves the the seal of the bellows questionable, I would remove the bellows and inspect/lube the U-joints and gimbal bearing."

I would not be to concerned over the clip. The hose clamp YES!
The clamp you purchased must be stainless steel and the tighteniong nut must also be stainless steel. If you purchased it from a hardware or auto store the tightening nut may not be stainless steel."
 
bellows seal was good.bought a

bellows seal was good.bought a s.s.clamp from West Marine and installed it.Greased the gimball and u joints all is good.
