"I noticed this past summer as the boat was trailered that over several days the lower unit would loose some tilt height. No issues noticed in the water, but suspect it will only get worse. I had the lower unit off for maintenance reasons and notice the starboard ram would retract and not hold position compared to port. I have no fluid loss or apparent leaks so I suspect the ram is the issue. Are these rams rebuildable or do I need to find a replacement somewhere. I have used a local hydraulic company to help test and rebuild an ailing valve assembly on an older merc of mine. Any suggestions would be helpful.
