"I have "winterized" the motor every winter. We live in Maryland so its not a real hard freeze till Jan-Feb. I wanted to be able to use the boat throughout the winter if possible. The boat would be stored on a LIFT and OUT OF THE H2O. Is this possible without using the ear-muffs and antifreeze everytime?
The owners manual says NOTHING about freezing and winterizing just extended storage. Other people I talk to say you can do this b/c its an open cooling system...? I have a Yamaha PWC and it does NOT require "winterization" b/c of the open cooling system. However, isn't the F115 really a Merc. block.
