I have a one year old 25HP Yah

I have a one year old 25HP Yahama. It has a 15" foot and I was wondering if it could be changed to a 20" and what the cost would be? Thanks

The exhaust housing, drive shaft, shift shaft and water tube are all 5" too short on your current configuration.

You can get ahold of the guys at www.marineparts.com for a quote on a kit
just don't be surprised if it comes close to half the cost of a new motor (they quoted me a little over 700 bucks for a 5" extension for a 40 horse a few months back).

The two big items that are costly to change after you have bought the motor are the shaft length and converting a manual to electric start....."
