I own a 2002 Rinker w/ 350MPI

I own a 2002 Rinker w/ 350MPI That in drive and underway will cut-out at 3500RPM's or above.
I had the seawater pump overhauled after that engine
was getting hot. Is their a rev limiter that needs to be electronically reset? I have already replaced
all fuel filters.

"Your engine has a "Shift Switch" that tells the ECM if you're in gear or not. When in neutral, the rev limit is 3500RPM. Once in gear, the engine will achieve it's normal WOT RPM."
