Is it benificial to drill hole

Is it benificial to drill holes in a prop for venting? How does it change performance? Where and what size holes should be used? How many? Or should I even concern my self with it?
 
The only benefit you will get

The only benefit you will get is the hole shot. It will not effect your top end. It will allow you to run a little bigger prop so you can have good top end and still have a decent hole shot.
I have the bulletin that shows the right position to drill and size if you need it just click on my name and e-mail me and I'll be more then glad to send it to you.
I have one of my motors with a vented prop and it did allow me a better hole shot .
