"I think I f-ed up my motor.
I am trying to sell my 9.9 hp 4 stroke to a guy, and he wanted to see it run tonight. So I went to hook up the cables to the battery, and (for some dumb reason) mixed them up, and hooked the pos to the neg, and vice versa!
I know, very dumb! And now I don't get squat from it! What did I burn out, and how hard is it to fix?
Now a guy who's boat is stuck w/o a motor wants to buy it ca$h, and it doesn't work... HELP!
