"Has anyone any recommendations or cautions regarding using a gear oil additive (Nulon Etc') in the stern drive oil? I have seen some very convincing demonstrations with these gear oil additives in the automotive field, but was wondering about marine use? Any comments?"
 
If it was necessary then Merc.

If it was necessary then Merc. would have put it in the oil. May be good for racing boats.
