Just purchased a sailboat with a racor 200 fuel filter. Not familiar with this unit. Looks like all I need to do is;
1. Drain the bowl
2. Remove the cover
3. Replace the filter and gasket with new ones
4. Fill the bowl
5. Put the cover back on
6. Start the engine

No need to bleed the entire fuel system? Is it really that simple?}

you will need to bleed.

"This is a good filter, Roacor does not make it any longer, and yes you have to bleed it thru. Simple if it is installed below the fuel flow. If not, you can install an outboard motor type primer bulb before your Racor and this makes bleeding simple."
