Can anyone provide me with a drawing of the placement of steering shaft bushings and other parts that are installed in the intermediate housing 1972 inline 6. I have the rear bushing and another split bushing along with an O ring and a spring type washer. I want to make sure I put everything in the proper order of installation to avoid a leak or steering problem. This is tru-course steering. Any advise would be helpful. I also need suggestion on transom boots. I know the one for my boat costs a little over 100.00 dollars an I found an aftermarket seller that seels them for 60.00 dolars. Should I be wary of this or would it be a safe bet to buy an aftermarket boot? Thanks for any info.
