"can anybody give me some advice where to look for a number, so i know what type of stern drive i've got .
(i think they are DP 280 or DP 290, because they got duo prop.)
i've got two AQAD 30A volvo diesel engines with volvo penta stern drives, and i like to do some maintanance on them."

Some however, mainly AQ290, were with trim, cylindes concealed under alu housings on both sides of the transom mount.280 alu decal at rear cover.
290: Std delivered with power trim and tilt, hydralic. Cylinders visible open in the transom mount. Tape decal around top of drive and rear cover."
