Propeller Spins in Neutral Is this normal

"I am very new to boating and I aquired an older boat. I have gotten the engine to run but I have a question. It may be stupid, but I am just not sure. Should the propeller spin at all while I have the motor in the neutral position. It spins a bit and I assumed that in neutral it wouldn't spin at all. If it isn't supposed to, what might be the problem? Like I said it may be a dumb question but I am very new to boating"
