"have a 95 yamaha pro-v 150, the low oil alarm goes off due to low oil in the little resevoir on the motor, the emergency switch pumps it full again but will re-occur. Any suggestions or help is appreciated."

I have a V6 Excel that had the same problem. The wire loom between the engine and the external tank was at fault. Specifically the ground wire was so deteriorated that it could not be repaired. A physical inspection would reveal a break in the line so I repaired it. Further checks revealed another break and so on and on. I had to replace the entire cable. Why it was only the ground wire is a mystery.
