NEWBIE Need some help

Just picked up a 1988 four win

Just picked up a 1988 four winns bowrider. Has a 3.0l omc stern drive. It hasn't been started since may of this year. The guy put in new points then had a stroke and couldn't use it. A. how do I get it to kick over? B. How would I winterize it? Any info would be a great help thanks

B: to make sure you don't miss a thing get the book on that year of engine so you can see what all you should do. Change oils filters an so on.

Thats what I did. and also ask MR.Bob Hill or Mr.Hy Stat
They sure helped me a lot.
