"Got a '98 C50TLRX and was duck hunting last winter in severe weather conditions. Had a 1/2" of ice on the 2 cables that enter the motor housing. Long story short, the ice made the black outer coating break on those 2 cables. I can see the throttle cable move when I shift (it's surrounded by smaller cables and then the broken black outer covering). Would this have an affect on my being able to move the throttle all the way forward? I can get it part way, but I'm afraid to force it 'cause I don't want to screw it up any more than it already is. What should I do? Thanks in advance."
