"I took my lower unit off to replace my impeller. After a short vacation, I forgot the order in which the parts go back together (CRS). My service manual does not show some of the parts that I have (attached photos). I have the fiber gasket, plate and the impeller in place. I know where the O-ring goes. There are two very thin shims and one slightly larger one. They are in the order in which I took them off. I just can’t remember if the larger one or the two smaller ones go on first. Next, I don’t remember if the seal assembly with its shims goes inside the housing or outside. I presume that it goes inside, but I can’t take the chance without confirmation. Can someone give me some guidance please?
