"Just bought this boat, runs great, but is seriously lacking low end power. Here's what I DO know: It has good oil pressure and runs at the right temperature. The exhaust manifold or manifold gasket is leaking. Could this leak be causing the lack of power? Also, are there any other common things to check for?"

"If exhaust is leaking, You run a mix of exhaust and fuel. Run with engine cover off and see if any difference."
 
Update: Checked compression. 2

Update: Checked compression. 2 dead cylinders. NO compression. Pulled top half of motor apart after determining it's 2 bad intake valves on each cylinder. Having complete valve job done. I will let you know the outcome! Thanks for your help guys
