Uneven exhaust tempature between left and right elbows

"I recently replaced my right

"I recently replaced my right and left exhaust manifolds and risers on a GM 4.3L Vortex. After allowing the motor to warm up, I have noticed that the left exhaust elbow warms but does not become too hot to touch. The right manifold however, becomes too hot to touch. The exhaust system is cooled by raw water that is first run through a heat exchanger then enters a spliter bar where the water is pumped to the left and right exhaust manifolds, then to risers and finally to the exhaust pipe. Question: Is it normal for one exhaust elbow to be hotter than the other or should they both heat up evenly. Both manifolds are taking water from the same sorce only the right side exhaust cooling water has to travel a little bit further. Is this something I should be worried about?"
