I'M TRYING TO REMOVE THE E

I'M TRYING TO REMOVE THE EXHAUST ELBOW FROM MY EXHAUST MANIFOLD. ANYBODY HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS OR TRICKS THEY HAVE USED TO REMOVE THIS ELBOW. AFTER REMOVING ALL OF THE HOSES AND BOLTS ETC. IT WON'T BUDGE AND I DON'T WANT TO START BEATING ON IT.
JUST ANOTHER WONDERFUL DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOAT OWNER!!

WELL I WAS FIRST THINKING OF JUST REMOVING IT AND THEN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND THEN HAVING THEM CLEANED AND TESTED SINCE THIS IS THE LAST THING I'M TRYING IN ORDER CURE MY OVERHEATING PROBLEM. IF THIS DON'T WORK I MAY BE IN THE MARKET FOR A GOOD TORPEDO!

"your manifold should be fwc ,so theres really no corrosion there. the elbow on the other hand houses the res end and the cooling raw water from the heat exchanger out the elbow.overheats are mainly caused by the ports getting clogged and restricting the outflow from the exchanger.
