"I have a 46 Bertram with 650h

"I have a 46 Bertram with 650hp 8V92s. She runs strong, but my last two trips we've notice quite a bit of vibration on the port engine. The props have been balanced, no dings, and a fresh bottom. The vibration is very noticeable while looking at the engine....more so while under load than idling at the dock. However, it comes up to full RPM and has no smoking except for a brief puff at start up. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
 
Check the cutlass bearings on

Check the cutlass bearings on the prop shafts.

If there is no vibration while in neutral at all rpms then suspect the drive train/prop.

"Thanks for your help! The vibration is still present while in neutral at all rpms, however it is not as "bad" as when the boat is under a load. I think we have it nailed down to the engine, we're just not sure where to go from there."
