I have a mariner 4hp

I have a mariner 4hp that wont start anymore.
I tried a compression test and got 45 psi. I added marvel mystery and was able to get 90 psi, but still no start, even with trying to squirt starting fluid into the carb and into the cylinder? I do have blue spark on grounding out spark plug. Do I have a stuck ring, or could it be a reed or fuel issue. I think it might be a ring. Maybe wait a day or two and see if oil breaks the ring free? Any suggestions or help with this would be most appreciated. Thanks."

But your compression is shot and a can of wonder juice is not going to fix what needs to be torn down and seriously looked at.

If you can do the work yourself, make it a project. If not, consider another motor - the potential cost to repair this little one will quickly escalate past the cost of a brand new one..."
