"Hi. I have the above engine with a Kanzaki KM3P trannie. Cant seem to fix a "conk conk conk" in the systeme. I thought it was the Martec prop, failing to open (one blade). "Conk" does not always happen, never in reverse. New geared prop. New shaft and cutlass bearing. Could it be as simple as transmission fluid? I will check tonight but would love any comment. Thanks"
