Since my header questions got

Since my header questions got answered. Has anyone added a Holley and edelbrock intake to their 5.7ltr boat and how did it work. And what cam would be a good choice for mid range cruising? What about Ignition upgrades? any suggestions will be gladly appreciated

stock parts already best. All car hot rod parts are for turning higher rpm's and boats don't do that. Most marine compatible cams are just exact copies of factory boat cam. Don't know what ignition you have so not sure of upgrades.
 
I have added an Edelbrock Perf

I have added an Edelbrock Performer intake and 1409 carb to my 4.3L V6 with good results. The V8 version should work well. I'm sure the Holley marine carb is good also.

Did the Performer and 1409 would yield any gains over the stock cast manifold and 4 BBL Quadrajet? or you replaced a 2 BBL?

I replaced a 2bbl. I guess I assumed he was doing the same. If I had the factory 4bbl I would leave it be.
