2003 Yamaha 250 HPDI Oil is no

2003 Yamaha 250 HPDI Oil is not pumping from large reserve tank to main tank on side of engine. How/where do I check pump?

"drain oil from tank on motor by removing water trap tube on bottom of tank, refit tube, turn on ignition, alarm will sound and you should hear pump running on boat oil tank,[listen carefully]pump is on back of tank, if pump is running but no oil is transfering, check for a restriction in oil line also check filter at the back of boats oil tank, maybe clogged, these should be changed as part of the anual service."

"Ya, worked for me. After some shop work a dealer replaced my boat oil tank and pinched the tube. I cleared the tube and used the switch on the motor oil tank to replenish the oil into the motor oil tank. Worked perfectly."
