Yamaha stern drive will start sometimes

I have a 1992 5.0 yamaha stern

I have a 1992 5.0 yamaha stern drive It start 80 % of the time . sometimes it just clicks wait a minute an it will start sometimes . I had to be towed a couple of times.Checked all the wiring no loose connections.

But did you Remove, Sand, Clean, Reinstall,+ Grease them,..??..??

If Not,... That's where I'd start....

Don't forget, Do Both ends of ALL the wiring...."
