"Ok, third post, and no response on the other two. Please help!
I have a Yamaha FT9.9DE, year 2002. Now before you run away saying that is not a valid model, yep, it is for an Aussie motor. I managed to get a Yamaha parts catalog for the motor, and it calls for a 63V-W0078-00-00 water pump repair kit. The repair shop put in a 682-W0078-A2, and it seems to work. Plus they sold me the same spare kit.
So, can anyone tell me the difference in the two. I want to carry a spare water pump kit cruising, and wonder if I should return the 682 series part, and order the 63V part.
Second question - does the 62Y-2800-00-00 tool kit come with the spark plug socket? Auto parts house socket doesn't seem to fit the lower plug."
